Registration is required and begins June 5. We offer simultaneous storytimes on Wednesday and Thursdays.


Dig into Reading! Summer Reading Club
For all ages from babies through teens.
Reading Club registration starts June 5 in person only. Track your time spent reading and earn prizes. Program runs until August 10.

Babytime
Birth - 24 months (with caregiver)
No siblings please.
Monday 6:30 p.m., or Tuesday 10 a.m.

Time for twos
24 months - 36 months (with caregiver) Must be two by June 17, 2013
No siblings please.
Tuesday 11 a.m. or Wednesday 6:30 p.m.

Babies and/or twos
For families with children under 3 years old.
Thursday 9:30 a.m.

Preschool storytime
3 years to kindergarten
Designed to allow children to assert their independence by attending on their own.
Monday 10:30 a.m., or Wednesday 6:30 p.m. or Thursday 9:30 a.m.

Family storytime
A mixed-age family program for children of all ages and their caregivers.

STORYTIME SPECIAL
Kindergarten, here we come
For children entering kindergarten in the fall. We will review numbers, letters, colors, shapes and nursery rhymes. Join us for 2 hours of fun and learning.

Every rock has a story. Examine amazing rocks and crystals, and learn about them in hands-on experiments.

Presented by Geauga Park District. Learn about underground animals with a visiting naturalist.

Experience the “Digging for Library Gold” show with entertainer Mark
Wade. Loads of comedy, audience participation, puppetry and ventriloquism.

Beneath the Surface Summer Reading
Embark on bookish adventures. Find new literary friends and dig beneath the surface of some great summer reading. All you have to do is pick up a reading log, track your hours and earn prizes!

Sidewalk Chalk Art Decorating
Grades 6 - 12

Tuesday, July 9, 11 a.m. - noon
Help decorate the sidewalks on the Square for the library’s 50th anniversary party. Meet at the gazebo.

Recycled Jewelry
Entering Grades 6 - 12

Tuesday, July 16, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Create upcycled jewelry out of items that would otherwise end up in a landfill. Think: bottle caps, milk jugs, gum wrappers and glass.
